My OT Heros - Job (part 9 - God responds)

Rarely a week goes by when I don't bring up David or Joseph or Moses or Job or others to people I'm trying to encourage.   Many of these examples have become a part of my everyday life and thinking due to their amazing suffering and testimony.   We're going to spend the next couple of months looking at some of them from selected passages and events

Job part 8 (Job's friends - part 3)

Rarely a week goes by when I don't bring up David or Joseph or Moses or Job or others to people I'm trying to encourage.   Many of these examples have become a part of my everyday life and thinking due to their amazing suffering and testimony.   We're going to spend the next couple of months looking at some of them from selected passages and events
 
THIS WEEK: we continue looking at the "friends" and the horrible "counsel" and how we can understand and respond to similar things in our lives.  we specifically look at when others claim they are doing what God wants.   how do they know?   we start on the issue of "is God punishing me for my sin" but will do most of that next week
