Forgiveness part 6 - hard to offend

Forgiveness is definitely one of the hardest things to do in life.   To do it in a way that is Biblical and God honoring is even harder for us.   The ONLY way to handle this situation is with Scripture and what GOD says ALONE.  Our human wisdom and feelings will never get this right
 
This week we look at a couple of verses that show us that we should be difficult to offend and SLOW to anger ... this is an evidence of humility and forgiveness

Forgiveness part 5 - prodigal son 2

Forgiveness is definitely one of the hardest things to do in life.   To do it in a way that is Biblical and God honoring is even harder for us.   The ONLY way to handle this situation is with Scripture and what GOD says ALONE.  Our human wisdom and feelings will never get this right
 
This week we finish up the prodigal son looking at the "already forgiven" of the father and the "false taking of offense" by the older brother.  This story shows that modern church leanings on forgiveness is man made and not accurate to Scripture

Forgiveness part 4 - Prodigal son

This week we look at the prodigal son with an emphasis on the "already forgave" actions of the father and the "he had no idea if there was repentance before he ran".   this story shows that modern church leanings on forgiveness is man made and not accurate to Scripture

Forgiveness part 4 - do we REALLY believe what God says?

Forgiveness is definitely one of the hardest things to do in life.   To do it in a way that is Biblical and God honoring is even harder for us.   The ONLY way to handle this situation is with Scripture and what GOD says ALONE.  Our human wisdom and feelings will never get this right
 
This week we take the hour to discuss that what we REALLY believe changes us and what we do.   Therefore lack of forgiveness is a clear sign we REALLY don't believe we have been forgiven as much as Matt 18 states.   So how do we GROW in our belief and acting on what Scripture says?

Rarely a week goes by when I don't bring up David or Joseph or Moses or Job or others to people I'm trying to encourage.   Many of these examples have become a part of my everyday life and thinking due to their amazing suffering and testimony.   We're going to spend the next couple of months looking at some of them from selected passages and events
