Truth 4 Life Change

We are very close to the end of the "Fearing God" series and I brought up the warning about "sharing" with others details of other's sins against us.  This happens so often and is USUALLY done in a sinful manner with sinful motives and much aftermath.   This obviously was not a wise idea to bring up in the last 10 minutes as a "i really want to challenge you about this" ... SO ... we did the full hour today on the Theological issues guiding this discussion.  NEXT week we will spend the whole time the ANSWERING scenarios and questions to try to make this clear on how to live it out biblically.

In this class we get start with some questions about whether or not we are living in the "fear of the Lord", then we head into the last 2 verses dealing with the fact that Fearing God is learned.  
I bring up some questions about discussing the sins of others which clearly opened MANY cans of worms ... so next week we will deal with that thoroughly

In this class we spend the first half discussion how loving God is primarily about valuing God properly and how Fearing God is similar in nature.   It is primarily about esteeming God highly enough that it matters to me to do right.   We then continue with many verses that show what those who do NOT fear God are like and how that helps us understand what it means to fear God
